Our Impact

For more than three decades, the St. Croix Valley Orchestra has served as an important cultural resource for communities throughout the St. Croix Valley. Our concerts provide audiences with opportunities to experience live orchestral music close to home, free of charge, while offering musicians of all ages the rare chance to perform in a fully orchestrated ensemble under professional direction.

The orchestra brings together volunteer musicians from across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota, creating a musical community that spans generations and experience levels to rehearse and perform together, building musical excellence, community connection, and lifelong friendships.

The St. Croix Valley Orchestra provides a rare opportunity for young players to perform orchestral repertoire in its intended setting—surrounded by a full range of instruments and guided by experienced conductors and fellow musicians.

Together, these efforts strengthen the region’s cultural vitality and ensure that orchestral music remains accessible, inspiring, and alive for audiences across the St. Croix Valley.
